XII National Library Week – 2017 The XII National Library Week “Libraries in support of sustainable development” will take place May 9-13, 2017. It aims to demonstrate the role of libraries for implementation of SDGs in the new UN Agenda “Transforming Our World: Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development”. The Bulgarian Library and Information Association organizes it in the context of IFLA International Advocacy Campaign. The NLW will be conducted in all types of libraries throughout the country. The Opening ceremony will be held on May 9, 11 a.m, at the Balkan Hotel, Sofia. The key speaker is Ms Donna Scheeder, President of IFLA. The BLIA Library Awards for 2016 will be announced and delivered to winners.
